AFC, Home of ‘Coerver Coaching’
So, when I got home, My mom told me that there will be ‘that-kind-of-thing’ at Ateneo, Actually my brother, Marco wants to play football/soccer too. I’m surprised, since I was planning to take summer classes for soccer next year. I’m so happy when I saw this, But I know that we need to spend a lot, we need to pay for the fee + jersey, and I need to buy socks + shoes.

The AFC (Ateneo Football Center) First Module for SY 2011-2012, already started. But we can still join for the next module. The training/what-so-ever: Every Saturday and Sunday, 7:00AM-8:30AM? I’m not sure with the time, 7/7:30AM or 8:30/9:30AM. But the thing is, I have my training for volleyball every Saturday 6AM-12NN (and sometimes every Tuesday and Thursday).

I know that there’s a difference between Football and American football, and i’m more comfortable calling that sport as ‘soccer’. Well, I must admit I suck on running fast. But who knows, right? Learning how to play soccer can help me in playing Volleyball too.

It’s nice too since that they will seperate us depending on our skills, knowledge and well.. age-group. I know playing soccer will ‘cause larger muscles on my legs, which for me isn’t a good thing, and sana, if ever na maglaro ako ng soccer, pag sinuot yung socks, the specific one, sana ma control naman pag laki ng muscles ko, oh please. I would be happy, I swear. Well, I’m praying that God would let me play soccer, this time. But if this isn’t the right time, it’s fine. Since being a 2nd year student is hard too. But I hope that I can add ‘DanaMariela-soccer’ soon on my tag lines.
